Lapeer East junior Dawn Wesley won the Eastern Michigan Fair Poster contest and a $200 first prize. Her design will be used to advertise the fair this summer, and she will be on hand during part of the fair autographing posters for fair goers.Wesley’s poster, which depicts a Ferris wheel, a teddy bear, cotton candy and popcorn was chosen from entries from throughout the county.
Eastern Michigan Fair manager Ian Kempf holds the winning poster.
