Construction work that began immediately after the end of classes is well underway to remodel science classrooms and laboratories at Lapeer West High School.Because the construction involved a space formerly used as an athletic weight room, work is also underway in converting three former classrooms into a new weight room.
When complete when students return in the fall of 2009, students at Lapeer West will be working in new, state-of-the-art science laboratories. More photos are available here.
