This year at Schickler Elementary students have the opportunity to be part of a special Technology Club. Two or three students from each 4th and 5th grade classroom are selected.
This year the students have been busy with learning how to use many forms of multi-media. They have recorded video clips using Flip Cameras, mini DV cameras, cell phones, digital cameras, and document cameras. The students then used Windows Movie Maker and Flip Share Software to edit and create movies.
Other responsibilities of the club members include tutoring younger students with technology, updating a school-wide PowerPoint daily, capturing digital images on special occasion, and making a culminating project of a digital yearbook.
