Two former Lapeer East Eagles making a mark in collegiate soccer

The County Press has a nice story on two Lapeer East High School grads, Kristen Tomczyk, Class of 2009, and Haley Weingartz, Class of 2007, and their collegiate soccer accomplishments.

Former Lapeer West football player to start for Colorado State University - Pueblo

Sutton "Brad" Richmond a 2006 Lapeer West graduate and varsity football player during his career there, will start at defensive back at Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2009.

Lapeer West Softball team honored for team, coach and player by The County Press

The Lapeer West High School Softball team and its coach, Brad Walker, were honored recently by The County Press. The team was named "Softball Team of the Year" and Coach Walker received Coach of the Year honors. The story is here.
